The time draws near......

I will be 38 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Wow. When we found out this baby was coming it seemed so far off, and that we had all kinds of time to prepare. Well, ready or not he will be here soon. I think I feel as prepared as I can be. I have no idea what life is going to be like with 2 little ones. I have all of the "stuff" ready, diapers, wipes, clothes, etc. but I feel like I can't organize how Jacoby is going to react and how I am going to mold my parenting to meet both their needs. It will certainly be a great adventure. I am so happy that i get to take such a long time off work to establish a good routine for the boys, and to really spend time with each of them and make sure they are each confident in their spot in the family before I have to go back. Other big changes are coming to. Jacoby had his preschool open house today which means that next Thursay my big boy is officially going to preschool. He did do 2 weeks of preschool camp this summer to get ready. That was kind of a mixed bag. First week he freaked, which led to me freaking just a bit. Second week was awesome, he couldn't wait to get there and see me leave. Today when we went he was less than excited. We got to meet his teachers in the Star Room, teachers Jo and Jessica. He met several friends that would be in his class, but still was not digging it. Then he found the Thomas trains and some big trucks. He dealt a little better after that. He is still not convinced he wants to go back, but we didn't drag him out kicking and screaming. If I knew how to get pics from my iPhone on here, I would show you the cuteness, but I have yet to master that. My hope is that this baby will wait at least til 9/11 after preschool, to give a jake a chance to go on our normal routine to school for a couple, before routine is upset for a little while when baby comes. I have a dr appt tomorrow and we shall see if baby is any closer to joining us. He remains unnamed ;) suggestions welcome.
