Mommy goes back to work!

Well 7 months went by in a flash! I go back to work tomorrow. I have lots of different feelings about this. I am sad, because I have so loved having my days free to spend with Jake. I am excited to get back and see where all of my work kids are at and how they are doing. I am comforted in knowing that Jake will be cared for by one of my best friends in the world, and I have no concerns in leaving him. Jake has frequented thier house since he was born. When Mommy was better disciplined she was going over there ever morning to workout. That has tapered, but we are still over there very often, and Jake is completely familiar. I think he has a bit of a crush on thier 4 yr old, so he will have a ball!
It will definately be an adjustment being on a tight schedule in the mornings. I have really let myself get spoiled with sleeping in and lounging around some days. My plan tomorrow is to get up at 6am, try to sneak downstairs without waking Jake, shower and get myself ready. Then wake my little guy, get him fed and changed and be out the door by 7:20. If I can accomplish this it will give my plenty of time to get to Christina's (my nanny:))hang with Jake for a couple minutes, get a coffee and roll into work by 8am. We'll see if my plan comes through. Luckily I have the world's best boss, and if we hit a snag and I am a little late, he won't bat an eye. Oh yeah, did I mention, seeing my co-workers again is another reasoon I am happy to be going back. My unit is full of wonderful people. I truly have an awesome job.
I am only going back part time, so Jake won't be in care too much of the week, and whenever we can swing it, he will be with Daddy.
So now I need to dig out my badge, so I can get into the building in the AM, print the email I sent myself in December with all my passwords, so I can access my computer, and finish the laundry, so I don't have to worry about what I am gonna wear all week.

Just because he is so darn cute, and I am so in love :)
