Anyway, so we've been trying Jake on solids for about 3 weeks now, and he refuses everything. We've tried green beans, carrots, bananas, rice krispies, he wanted nothing to do with any of it. Clearly he is gaining weight just fine and I am not stressed, but I am anxious for this next step. Well today at Costco, there was a 24pack of all organic baby food. Vegetable Turkey dinner was included in the mix. I figured, what the heck, let's give it a whirl. So we got him settled in his new highchair (thanks Auntie Huong!) and off we went. The first few bites were like the rest, he wasn't so sure. But then, it was like a light came on, and he realized this stuff wasn't so bad. I smelled it and took the tiniest taste, it really wasn't that bad. Slowly, the bites started going in easier, and next thing you know, he is grabbing for the spoon and eating the food off his hands! In the end he was COVERED in Turkey dinner, and needed a bath, but he seems to have found a solid he likes!!!! Woo hoo. So tomorrow a jar goes to the nanny with him and we'll see if she has the same luck. Sadly, his 7 months of vegetarianism (spl?) has come to an end, and Auntie Lori was a little sad. Don't worry Lori if he wants to go Veggie later in life, we will support him!!

One sec Mom, I don't know about this

I don't think I like it

Hmmmmm, maybe not so bad, keep it coming, so I can decide

Give me more, give me more!!!!

Thumbs taste even better covered in Vegetable Turkey dinner!

Chillin in my swing, in my jammies, after my bath, gotta love thise summer nights

When did he start going to a nanny? I thought Kristina was watching him.
